Am 18. Au­gust (15:00 bis 18:00 Uhr) gibt es bei den Frei­schrau­bern das „Schrau­ben der of­fe­nen Tür“. Es geht dann mal nicht um eure Räder son­dern um „Un­se­re“ und darum alles was es so beim Schrau­ben zu tun gibt durch­zu­ge­hen und zu ler­nen.
Und halt auch darum uns ken­nen­zu­ler­nen.
Weil be­stimmt habt ihr ja ei­gent­lich eh schon seit lan­gem Lust mit­zu­ma­chen.
Es fehlt doch nur noch der klei­ne An­stoß oder?

Wir neh­men uns an dem Tag aus dem Frei­schrau­ber* Be­stand schrot­te Räder und gehen alles von A wie Achse über M wie Man­tel bis Z wie Zen­trier­uhr durch. Und mit etwas Glück gibt es dazu ir­gend­was von L wie Limo bis K wie Ku­chen.

Wer also meint „Naja, mehr als n Plat­ten fli­cken kann ich halt nicht“ und Bock hat sagen zu kön­nen „Ik hab auch mal n Tret­la­ger aus­ge­tauscht, n Vor­der­rad zen­triert, ne Schal­tung ein­ge­stellt, Ach­sen­ko­nus nach­ge­stellt und n Vor­bau ge­wech­selt“ ist am 18. Au­gust ab 15:00 Uhr genau rich­tig bei uns.

CROSS STITCHED EYES

 

The US / UK / German collective Cross Stitched Eyes, follows

in the tradition of anarchist punk and demonised death rock

(Rudimentary Peni, Amebix and Killing Joke). Embracing the many

irrational and visceral shades of this style's darkest corners, the music

decidedly rejects traditional copy-and-paste guidelines of musical conformity

with a puncturing attitude. The harsher side of Cross Stitched Eyes derives

directly from the band's artistic influences and its deconstructed presentation.

CSEs track "We Follow" evokes reactions to seemingly

unchanging lifestyles with a vitriolic diatribe. Others like "Animated Corpse"

and "Earth's Defiant" display a lyrical depth seldom heard these days.

At times benign, at others aggressive, CSE explores the complicated relationship

between dark and light in a repulsive world filled with gloom.

CEDRON

CEDRON hails from a dying city in northern Sweden.

The four-piece are young, but still have had the chance to tour Sweden

with some of it’s more renowned hardcore bands as well as played the

country’s largest metal festival.

WATCHING THE SUN TURN PITCH BLACK, the bands debut EP,

revolves around the theme of con- sumption, decay and ignorance.

In six songs CEDRON takes the listener through childhood friendship,

ro- mantic uncertainty and political aggression, all whilst playing metal riffs

in the vein of Bring Me The Horizon with the intensity from Refused.

The band will embark on new tours to support their fresh EP,

the first one in the spring along with fellow swedes Yersinia. Make sure

you catch these guys live; as the songs promises, it is impossible to stand

still hearing tunes like ‘Rumours’ and ‘Still Growing’ in a crowded room.

CEDRON is a cry for those without voice, life in a dying genre,

and a legacy in the making.
