INFESTO (Medellin, Kolumbien))

INFESTO- Punkband aus Medellín, Kolumbien, von 1991. Sie hatten damals nur ein Demo aufgenommen, und sich dann irgendwann aufgelöst, um die Stadt zu verlassen. Die Suche nach einem anderen Leben fernab vom gewaltvollen Medellín am Ende der 80er Jahre führte sie zu einem Ort namens Capurgana, direkt am Atlantik. 18 Jahre später wurde die Reunion beschlossen, um endlich ein Album aufzunehmen. DIY und mit vielen Musikern aus der alten Punkszene zusammen. 2012 auf Tournee durch Europa!
 

Warpath - Old school Thrash Metal

 

Bio:

A batalha do Warpath começou no início de 2000, na cidade de

Ananindeua-Pará, com o nome de Mercy Killin.., tendo lançado

um CD-demo auto intitulado, em 2002, abrindo shows para bandas

como Funeratus, Nephast, Torture Squad, Imperious Malevolence,

Drowned entre outras, e participado de diversos festivais como

Xtreme Warlust Metal Fest, Barulho Brutal, World Cremation,

além de tocar em outras cidades, como São Luís (MA), Santarém (PA),

Portel(PA). Em 2004, com um line-up estabilizado num power trio,

muda o nome para Warpath. Em meados de 2005, lança o CD-demo

pela Ceremonial Prods, chamado The Killing Time, que obteve

críticas muito positivas com relação às três faixas do CD, inclusive

fazendo shows de abertura, para o Subtera, Iconoclasm, Desaster (ALE), Torture Squad, Violator, entre outras. Fazendo também shows em Teresina (PI), Macapá (AP),

Santarém (PA), Castanhal (PA), Porthell (Portel-PA). Em 2008,

participa de gravação ao vivo na Rádio Cultura FM de Belém

(Programa Balanço do Rock). No ano de 2009, entra em estúdio

para iniciar a gravação de seu próximo petardo, e em 2010 lança

pelo selo Fábrica Sonora, o EP intitulado Massacre, contendo 7

faixas de insanidade (4 faixas de estúdio e 3 faixas ao vivo).

Com isso, o Warpath vai continuando na batalha, sempre

erguendo a bandeira do Underground Thrash/Speed Metal!!!!

Bio

Baixo Calao, a band formed in 1996 in the Amazon forest in

Belém do Pará in Brazil. It had members, Leo (guitar),

Dick (bass), Barbosa (drums) and Leandro (vocals) scratching

at the beginning, the style HardCore. With the entry of

new drummer (William Gomes), the band signed to the

Grindcore and with such a change, enter another

guitarist (Vinicius) and thereby instilled to the style.

Only in 2003 released their first demo / CD-R Homo Postumus.

Then add one more vocal (Beto Core) at Cd-r 2004 Repúdio e

Descrença; part of the Collection "Desgraçacore" Compilation

Cd and "Burning in the Cross" Tape, 2006. Moreover, in 2008,

the band released their first official CD Tu Crías, with new bassist:

Today, Baixo Calao drags a large numbers of insane grindcore

fans to their shows. Bringing in presentations with bands like

Claustrophobia (Brazil), Civil Olydnad (Sweden) and Ratos De Porao.

Always taking the good old grindcore of protest everywhere.
